| Becomes eligible to join the SENIOR TOUR at the
Toshiba Senior Classic...Won twice on the PGA TOUR
and had his best year in 1994 when he finished 53rd
on the money list with $314,885. Came from five
strokes back on the last day to win the 1981 Quad
Cities Open. Defeated Dan Halldorson, Victor Regalado,
Frank Conner and Woody Blackburn in an eight-hole
playoff for the victory ,the second longest overtime
session in TOUR history at the time. Also claimed
the 1987 Georgia-Pacific Atlanta Classic with a
72-hole score of 23-under 265...A member of 13 Canadian
World Cup teams (1977-78, 1982-85, 1987-91, 1993-94).Winner
of 1983 World Cup individual title, 1985 team title
with Halldorson...Nine-time member of Canadian Dunhill
Cup team (1985-89, 1991, 1993-95) and was the captain
of the winning 1994 squad, which included Rick Gibson
and Ray Stewart...Member of 1972 Canadian World
Amateur team...Four-time winner of Canadian Order
of Merit (1977, 1985-86, 1988)...Winner of eight
SCORE awards as Canada's top player...Winner of
12 tournaments on Canadian Tour...Inducted into
