Player Notes: A PGA Life Member, who served as director of golf at Hickory Hills Country Club in Springfield, Mo., from 1997-2000. . . Finished tied for 14th in the 2000 PGA Senior Club Professional Championship. . . Best finish was a tie for seventh in 1997 PGA Senior Club Professional Championship. . . Enjoyed a highly successful collegiate career, finishing a two-time NCAA Division I First-Team All-American in 1967 and 1969, and was an NCAA runner-up in those same years. . . Winner, 1984 New England PGA Championship, 1994 Florida Open. . . Competed in three U.S. Amateur Championships (1968-70), and finished 13th in the the 1970 event before the championship was converted to match play. . . Named 1997 Midwest PGA Senior Player of the Year. . . Missed the cut in two PGA Championships (1985, ’90) and the 1975 U.S. Open. . . Best finish in 10 PGA Club Professional Championships was T-5 in 1994. . . Inducted in 1990 into the University of Arizona Hall of Fame.
