Player Notes: Golf Director for the last 15 years at Bay Oak Golf Club in Bayou La Batre, Ala. . . Was the first amatuer ever to play at the Masters as a left hander, were he missed the cut in 1964 and ’65. Played in the 1971, ’75, ’81 and ’82 PGA Championship, missing the cut. Also played in the 1968 and ’71 U.S. Open, missing the cut. . . Won 1974, ’76, ’80 and ’81 Toledo Open. . . Played on the PGA Tour, 1969, ’70 and ’71, best finish, 2nd in 1971 Magnolia Classic.
