Player Notes: All-league in football, basketball and golf in high school. Comes from a golfing family where both parents were single-digit handicappers. Played on the PGA Tour in 1973, he missed cut in 1975 U.S. Open. Played in 18 events on the PGA Tour only making the cut in four of them. Best finish, T29th 1973 New Orleans Open. When he turned 50 in 1999 tried six times in money qualifying, in six attempts got into two events. Was the first round leader in the Novell Utah Showdown in 1999, eventually finishing T57th. Earned a conditional exemption in the Senior Tour qualifying tournament for 2000, getting 12th spot. Before 2002 played in 22 Senior PGA Tour events, best finish T35th, 2000 NFL Golf Classic.
