| Joined the SENIOR TOUR in the spring shortly after turning
50 and made his debut at the Bruno's Memorial Classic
near Birmingham as a Monday qualifier and finished T38...Through
a combination of open qualifying and sponsor exemptions,
he played in 12 events and finished with $244,245 in earnings...Posted
three top-10 finishes. The first came in just his second
start in Kansas City when he shot three straigth sub-par
rounds to finish T6 to earn his largest check of the year
-- $54,000...Added a second top 10 in July when he was
T7 at the Farmers Charity Classic in Michigan and then
picked up his third in his next start at the State Farm
Senior Classic when he was a T10. Was in the top 25 in
eight of his 12 starts. ..Also played four tournaments
on the BUY.COM TOUR and made three cuts and had three
starts on the PGA TOUR and made two cuts, including the
BellSouth Classic and the B.C. Open...Will be fully exempt
for the 2002 season after finishing eighth at the 2001
SENIOR PGA TOUR National Qualifying Tournament. Was one
of seven player that competed for the final two fully
exempt spots and grabbed the eighth and final position
when he birdied the second playoff hole. |

TOUR came in 1993 when he earned a career-best $210,125
and finished 82nd on the money list his highest finish
ever...Best finish on the PGA TOUR was in 1992 when he
was second at the Greater Milwaukee Open...Owns four BUY.COM
TOUR victories, including three in 1990 -- Mississippi
Gulf Coast Classic, Pensacola Open and the Ft. Wayne Open.
