Made two starts after turning 50 in July...His first appearance came in July when he finished T41 at the State Farm Senior Classic near Baltimore and his second was two months later when he finished T60 at the SAS Championship in North Carolina...Also played in one PGA TOUR event and missed the cut at July's B.C. Open...Attended the SENIOR TOUR National Qualifying Tournament and captured the 15th spot in the field and will be conditionally exempt for the 2002 season. Battled David Eger for 10 playoff holes for the 14th spot before Eger ended the marathon with a par.
