Director of Golf at Long Bay Golf Club and Aberdeen Golf
Club, both in Myrtle Beach. . . made it into finals
of Q-school and qualified for the PGA Tour in fall of 1979, and
played the tour in 1980. . . South Carolina PGA Player
of the Year, placed second in Carolina Section Championship. . . won
the 1996 Low Country Open. . . failed to get into
’80, ’86 US Opens missed out by a shot at sectionals. . . dream
is to play on Champions Tour, and will try out for the tour again
next year. . . qualified for his first Senior Open
after firing a 71 at Greenwood Country Club in Greenwood, South
Carolina; won a spot in a three-way playoff. . . married
to wife, Ann, both are animal-lovers with 2 dogs (Amber, Milo) and
a cat (Mr. Kitty).
