 Current Year Champions Tour Highlights
Posted his first Champions Tour title when he was a four-stroke victor at the Toshiba Senior Classic. Set a new tournament 36-hole mark when he opened with rounds of 65-64--129 and then closed with a 3-under-par 68 on Sunday to defeat Larry Nelson by four strokes...Was in contention down the stretch at the Royal Caribbean Golf Classic and eventually finished solo fourth at Key Biscayne, at the time, his best effort since placing fourth at last year's SBC Senior Open in Chicago...Was a solo fifth-place finisher at the Bruno's Memorial Classic.

  2002 Season Highlights
One of two Australians to finish in the top 31 (Stewart Ginn, the other)...Had three top-five finishes among his five top-10 finishes...Shared the 36-hole lead with Dan O'Neill and eventual winner Jay Sigel at the Farmers Charity Classic. Fired a 2-under-par 70 in the final round, but fell three strokes shy of Sigel and finished in sole possession of third place...Made a strong bid for his first Champions Tour victory at the Greater Baltimore Classic. Held a share of the lead on the 54th hole, but made a double bogey after hitting his tee shot into a hazard and T5...Added a fourth-place finish at the SBC Senior Open in Chicago...Was T7 at the BellSouth Senior Classic at Opryland in May and then capped his first full season on the Champions Tour with a T9 finish at the SBC Championship, the last full-field event of the year...Finished fourth in Driving Distance.
 Career Highlights
2001: Made debut shortly after turning 50 in May when he finished T27 at the Senior PGA Championship. Played in six events through open qualifying and sponsor's exemptions...Earned $66,990 and placed in the top 25 two times...In addition to his effort at the Senior PGA Championship, he was also T21 at the Farmers Charity Classic and T21 at The Transamerica, his best finishes of the year...Also made four starts on the Australasia Tour and made two cuts...Later in the year finished second at the Champions Tour regional qualifier at the La Purisima GC in California and then tied for third at the Champions Tour National Qualifying Tournament at Calimesa, CA.

Did not turn professional until age 23...Trained to be an accountant before turning to golf...Was considered one of the most popular and colorful players on both the PGA European Tour and the Australasian Tour.
