Currently the assistant club professional at Meadow Hills Golf
Course in Aurora. . . went to New Mexico State, but
did not graduate. . . after one year at New Mexico,
turned pro and worked at golf shops beginning in 1972, then got
PGA tour card in 1982 as part of the expansion program known as
the Tournament Players Series. . . prior to that
played on Asian Tour for six years, best finish a top-10 in Taiwan
in late 70s. . . lost card in 1983 and started playing
in South Africa. . . best finish was in South African
Open, top 20. . . in 1994, met his wife, Beverley,
decided to settle in the states and work for the Aurora Golf
position. . . recently on the Colorado cup team,
Colorado match play event squaring professionals versus amateurs. . . Comes
from a golfing family, father won the Colorado State Match Play
Championships, has four brothers, all golfers, and one sister. Has
been trying for 31 years to participate in a USGA event, missed
US Open by one stroke several times. . . his boss,
Brian Brown, head professional at Meadow Hills, will be caddieing
for him.
