Unisys and the USGA

Unisys has had a long-term association with the USGA since 1981, providing annual scoring for its three major championships: U.S. Open, the U.S. Women's Open and the U.S. Senior Open.

In 2003, Unisys yet again renewed its scoring contract, and will provide computerized golf scoring and information systems for events through 2006, including the U.S. Open, U.S. Senior Open, U.S. Women’s Open and the U.S. Amateur.

Unisys provides all equipment and software required for scoring and works with the USGA to handle the media center, scoreboards, museum, scoring and statistics trailer and championship offices. In addition, Unisys provides scoring information on a daily, to-the-minute basis for posting on the USGA's official Web site.
