Tied for fourth in the 2003 Callaway Golf PGA Senior Club Professional Championship. . . Winner, 1996 PGA Club Professional Championship with a record 17-under-par 271 total. CPC victory was assured by his making a 40-foot birdie putt on the 72nd hole. . . During 1996 CPC victory, switched to cross-handed putting style midway through first round and went on to set a Championship record for the lowest score on the first 54 holes (200) and best score on the last 54 holes (198) score, tied for highest first-round score by a winner (73), lowest second-round score (64), and lowest final-round score by a winner (67) . . . Had a banner year in 2003, winning a third Metropolitan PGA Player of the Year title, a fourth Metropolitan PGA Championship and his first New York State PGA Championship. . . .Finished 16th, one stroke out of earning conditional status in the 2003 Champions Tour Qualifying School. . . .
