Player Notes: Since first Tour victory in 1979, has been consistent winner, collecting 16 titles in Europe as well as another 34 internationally. A Zimbabwean contemporary of Nick Price and Tony Johnstone. Escaped with facial injuries when his car collided with a bus near his parents' farm in 1980. An accomplished pianist, he hit the high notes in 2001 when he won that 16th title, the Mercedes-Benz South African Open in January of that year.
