He was runner-up five times and had 59 top-10 finishes. in the late 90s, worked as an on-course commentator for The Golf Channel. . . Made five appearances on the Senior Tour after turning 50 in August of 1989. Did not play his first event until the first of October due to a back injury he sustained right before he was eligible to play. . . in five starts on the Champions Tour in 1999, best finish, T15th, Vantage Championship and Raley's Gold Rush Classic.
