General Information

ATMs
There will be two ATMs located on the golf course during the Championship.  One is located in the Merchandise Tent.  The other is behind the 16th green. 
 
Parking
There is no charge for parking in the Public Parking area for the 2005 U.S. Senior Open, nor is a special parking pass required.  Handicap parking will be available near the main entrance of the University of Dayton Arena lot for those individuals with a state issued permit.  Parking attendants will direct you to the Handicap parking area.  All spectators using the Public Parking area will be provided with complimentary shuttle service to the NCR Country Club. 

Driving Directions
NORTHBOUND: If traveling north on Interstate 75, exit at Edwin C. Moses Blvd. (exit 51).  Turn right off of the exit and follow Edwin C. Moses Boulevard to the U.S. Senior Open Public Parking Lot (located at the University of Dayton Arena, on left).
 
SOUTHBOUND: If traveling south on Interstate 75, exit at Edwin C. Moses Blvd. (exit 51).  Turn left off of the exit and follow Edwin C. Moses Boulevard to the U.S. Senior Open Public Parking Lot (located at the University of Dayton Arena, on left).
 
EASTBOUND: If traveling east on Interstate 70, merge onto southbound Interstate 75 via exit 33A toward Dayton.  Follow the above “SOUTHBOUND” directions.
 
WESTBOUND: If traveling west on Interstate 70, merge onto southbound Interstate 75 via exit 33A toward Dayton.  Follow the above “SOUTHBOUND” directions. 
 
Autographs
Spectators should keep in mind that the players' first responsibility during U.S. Senior Open week is to compete for the national championship. For this reason, a "no autograph" policy is in effect throughout Championship Rounds. Spectators should not approach a player for an autograph from the time immediately preceding the player's starting time up to and including the player's completion of his round, including the time when the player is at the Practice Range and Practice Green or in route to his first tee. The best time for autographs is during the practice rounds Monday – Wednesday, or following a player’s round. 
 
Camera Policy
Cameras and camcorders are only allowed on-site at the course during Practice Rounds, Monday through Wednesday, for personal photographic use only and without their cases.
 
Disabled Spectators
A Disabled Services facility will be located at the Main Admission Gate next to Will Call to provide disabled spectators with complimentary scooter carts. The Disabled Services Committee will have a limited number of scooter carts available for the disabled on a first-come, first-served basis; no advance reservations will be taken. Special viewing areas for disabled spectators will be provided at various locations around the course. Preferred parking for disabled spectators will be provided in the general parking lot located at the University of Dayton Arena. Vehicles with a handicap license plate or hangtag will be allowed access into this area. Lot 2 will have ADA transportation shuttles for spectators who are wheelchair bound, require supplemental oxygen, or have any other special needs.  Please call the Championship office at (937) 424-0506 x. 6 to make arrangements after July 1.  ADA viewing will be available on numbers 1, 9, 18 and the driving range.
 
First-Aid Stations
A first-aid station will be located near the clubhouse and in the area between #7 and #16 fairway. First-aid stations will be staffed with emergency medical technicians. If a medical emergency arises, please notify a U.S. Senior Open volunteer or USGA official.  Kettering Medical Center will be providing on-site medical care throughout the week. 
 
Food and Beverage Service
There will be 14 concession stands on the course that will have food and beverages for purchase.  These stands range from grilling tents to snack tents.  Concession stands will be located near greens 8 and 15, and along fairways 4, 7, 13, 14 and 18.  Other stands will be at the 1st, 5th, and 17th tees. Additional stands will be located near the driving range, clubhouse and Merchandise Tent. 
 
Bleachers
Over 8,500 bleacher seats will be available on the golf course during the Championship and are first come, first serve.  Bleachers will be located behind the driving range, the first tee and near greens 2, 6, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18.  ADA viewing will be available on numbers 1, 9, 18 and the driving range. 
 
Junior Tickets
Juniors 17 and younger will be admitted free of charge, on any day, when accompanied by a valid adult ticket holder. These tickets will be available at the main admission gate.  Juniors entering a hospitality area must have a hospitality ticket.

Lost and Found Tent
Any lost and found items will be taken to the Information Booth located at the Main Admission Gate.
 
Lost Persons
Any lost person, including children, will be taken to the Police Trailer.
 
Merchandise Pavilion
The on-site Merchandise Pavilion covering 10,000 square feet offers a variety of merchandise bearing the U.S. Senior Open logo. Some of the merchandise available for purchase includes caps, shirts, T-shirts, sweaters, jackets, artwork, lapel pins, golf balls, divot repair tools, ball markers, towels and much, much more. Acceptable forms of payment in the Merchandise Pavilion are: U.S. dollars, travelers checks, American Express, Discover, MasterCard and VISA. Personal checks and debit cards are not accepted.
 
Program Vouchers
A voucher for a U.S. Senior Open Program may be redeemed at the Merchandise Pavilion.
 
Restroom Facilities
Portable restroom facilities including facilities for disabled spectators will be located throughout the course.
 
Security
Heightened security procedures for this year's Championship have been implemented. We appreciate your patience and cooperation with all of these procedures. Spectators, volunteers and staff will not be allowed on the shuttle buses or through an Admission Gate with any of the items set forth below. Please be sure to read the following list of prohibited items carefully.
No Chairs with Arms – (Please remove all chairs from bags)
No Cell Phones—including any cell phones with photographic capabilities
No Noise Producing Electronic Devices
No Cameras and/or Camcorders (other than Monday through Wednesday for personal photographic use only and without their cases)
No Bag Larger than 12" W x 12" H x 12" D in its natural state
No Cases and/or Covers (such as chair covers)
No Signs, Posters and/or Banners
No Televisions and/or Radios
No Food and/or Beverage
No Containers and/or Coolers
No Pets (other than service animals)
No Lawn and/or Folding Armchairs
No Bicycles
No Ladders
No Metal-spiked Golf Shoes
No Weapons (regardless of permit, including but not limited to firearms or knives)
Any other items deemed unlawful or dangerous by the USGA and/or Championship Security Personnel, in their sole discretion. 
 
Spectator Guidelines
If you observe the following guidelines, your experience at the U.S. Senior Open will be a more enjoyable one:
— Please do not attach your U.S. Senior Open ticket to your clothing until you reach the grounds
— Your U.S. Senior Open ticket must be displayed at all times.
— Please stay behind gallery ropes and cooperate with the marshals at all times.
— Please be considerate of others and kneel or sit if you are in the front row of the gallery.
— Drink plenty of fluids to prevent dehydration.
— To ensure your safety at all times, walk carefully and never run.
— The U.S. Senior Open involves substantial walking on grassy hills, dirt paths and other uneven surfaces. Please wear appropriate footwear such as sneakers.

Weather
Average July weather in Ohio may be extremely warm and sunny. Please remember to wear sun protection: sunscreen, hats and sunglasses.
 
Weather Warning

The USGA will have meteorology staff on-site monitoring the possibility of inclement weather. If a storm is approaching, special "weather warning" signs like the one to the left will be posted on leaderboards around the course. When the sign appears, spectators are advised to take immediate precautions prior to any suspension of play. Bleachers will be cleared when weather warning signs are posted. If play is suspended, close your umbrella and seek shelter immediately. In the event of a weather warning, please avoid: open areas, hilltops, high places, isolated trees, golf carts and wire fences.

Will Call
On-Site Will Call will be conveniently located at the Main Admission Gate for spectators to drop off and pick up tickets. Photo identification will be required to pick up any tickets left at Will Call. Will Call cannot be accessed by vehicle during Championship week. Spectators must park in General Parking and take a shuttle bus to the Championship in order to go to Will Call.
