Player Notes: Stockbroker became part of USGA history by winning the 2001 USGA Senior Amateur, a title his father, John, won in 1987...The Richardsons are the only father-son combination to win USGA titles...With his Senior Amateur win, he joins Bill Shean Jr (2000) as winner of the USGA Senior Amateur and British Senior Amateur in same year …Also won the 2003 USGA Senior Amateur and 2004 British Senior Amateur...His second low-amateur distinction at Senior Open occurred at Saucon Valley C.C. in Bethlehem, Pa., where his father won his Senior Amateur title…Also was low amateur at 1999 Senior Open…Competed in two U.S. Amateurs and six U.S. Mid-Amateurs…Won 1967 and ’68 Pac-8 Conference title at USC…Runner-up at 2002 California Senior Amateur…Runner-up at 1968 Western Amateur…In 1967, was second-team All-American and earned first-team honors in 1968.
