Fred Funk played in his first event as a senior after turning 50 recently. Funk, who will play on both the PGA Tour and Champions Tours over the next year or so, was trying to join 11 other players who have won their first senior event in the first crack.Funk finished at 1-under 279. My Attitude was a little better today although I lost it a little bit on the 14th when I missed a short putt, but overall it was, to be honest, a frustrating week. And I guess that was pretty much the long and short of it.

I definitely have some demons working in my game, but it's over with now.

My putting continued to be consistently poor and today it was even worse than it had been all week; it was actually pretty bad.  Somehow I have to fix the issues I have with my putting.

Today I had a chance to get it going early and I missed a gimmie on the third hole and missed a shorter gimmie on the 14^th today.  It makes me a little nervous when I'm over any putt right now. 

I used the claw grip all day and I just didn't have it; I didn't make anything really.  I made one putt on the eighth, that was all. 

I think got a little case of the yips, I hate to admit it, but I've got a little case of the yips.

I'm going to Ford Players Championship, but I wish I could go home. But I already have it all planned out to go to Detroit.  So were going there tonight, relax a couple of days and work on things and maybe I'll find something.

I have to say I'm disappointed in the way I took everything this week.  It was fun seeing all the guys - nothing will take away from that. It was fantastic and the reception I got was great.  It was the way I handled myself. I was not very good and it was just a tough week in regard to my game and I felt like I played good enough to be in contention, and I just couldn't get it done.
