Hutchinson, Kan. – Four players have decided to withdraw from the Senior Open.

Scott Hoch, Greg Norman, Jay Sigel and Arnold Palmer have all pulled out of playing in this week's championship. All but Palmer cited injury as their reason. Palmer didn't feel his game was effective enough to play.

Chuck Ellenwood of Seguin, Texas, replaces Hoch; Mike Bell of Indianapolis takes Norman's place; Kean Ridd of Springville, Texas, slides in for Sigel; and Stephen Prugh of Spokane, Wash., replaces Palmer.
