Player Notes: This will be the first U.S. Senior Open for Wenzel who attempted to qualify three times prior to this year�Shot one under par at his qualifying site in Carson City, Nev�Has not played in any previous USGA championships�Owns Desert Wood Products, which leaves little room for golf�Most memorable golf experience was winning the 1967 Boys City Championship in Rockford, Ill�Lowest competitive 18-hole score is 64�Has three holes-in-one and one double eagle�His son, Greg Wenzel, will caddie at the championship.
