Eligibility

Entries are open to professional golfers and amateur golfers who have reached their 50th birthday by July 6, 2006. Amateurs must have up-to-date USGA Handicap Indexes not exceeding 3.4 under the Men's USGA Handicap System.

Entries are subject to rejection at any time (including during the Championship) by the USGA. The reason for rejection may include unbecoming conduct.

Age: A player is required to list his (for championship, the gender referenced is understood to include bot genders) age and date of birth on all USGA entry forms.

Amateur Status: All amateurs must conform with the USGA Rules of Amateur Status as specified in the USGA Rules of Golf.
