Player Notes: The youngest of the three famous Ozaki brothers (Jumbo and Jet), Ozaki has played both on the PGA Tour and the Japan Golf Tour. Capturing 35 victories on his home circuit in Japan. He became the Japan Golf Tour money leader twice in 1991 with ¥119,507,974 yen and in 1999 with ¥137, 641,796 yen and ranked second four times in 1984, '88, '89, and '92. Was fully exempt in 2006 after he finished third at the 2005 Champions Tour national Qualifying Tournament. Was the second- and third-round leader before finishing third in his first attempt. Was the medalist at the first stage at MetroWest C.C. in Florida. In 2007 is exempt because he finished 45th on 2006 Champions Tour list.

Finished 45th the previous year on the money list and was not fully exempt when the season began but demonstrated superb play early in the year, which continued throughout the season and led to a 19th-place finish on the money list...Nearly captured his first Champions Tour victory in August at the Boeing Classic. Birdied the final hole in regulation to join the record seven-man playoff near Seattle but was eliminated on the first extra hole when three players, including eventual winner Denis Watson, made birdies.
